Wildflower Bread Bakery Sourdough Bread (mmmm, the very best bread, but if you don't live here in AZ, any hearty sourdough bread will do)
pesto 
grape tomatoes
goat cheese 
shredded mozzarella

Super easy salad to make.  Some slicing and chopping and grating, but nothing a novice can't handle.

Very healthy ingredients.

After 16 (almost 17 years) of playing hockey, being too busy and feeding off mom and dad, Kyle found a job. 
It wasn't easy.  He went into the store every week for months on end to try to get hired.  His persistence paid off.

So far, 3 games played.  1-1-1.  Beat Peoria U16A/AA, tied Team AZ Bantam AAA, lost to CAHA U16AA.  All 3 good games.  The kids are playing well together and seem to have bonded quite well, considering all the new kids this year.  We have several 1993s who returned after a year of high school hockey too.Not much planned for this season yet.  Labor Day tourney here. The Mustangs played in the 2009 Mark Whyte Memorial Tournament in Las Vegas.  It was a fun weekend.  Stayed at the Suncoast Hotel &amp; Casino, which had lots of stuff to keep the kids and parents entertained.  The kids bowled, the parents gambled.  Everyone hung out in Fridays to watch the Cardinals rock the Eagles. He said that he didn't find a break, yet with avulsion fractures, sometimes the breaks won't appear immediately.  He felt Kyle was fine. It was a fairly easy pattern to follow.  I like the way it turned out, though one will never be enough.  I bought some yarn yesterday during hockey to knit another two (still have yarn left from the first to knit another in the opposite pattern.) I guess in some ways this is good, as the exercise of walking back to my car to get them is always helpful. It's pretty funny to sit in a dark tavern, drinking a Molson, watching hockey, and knitting.  But it's a great way to get a lot accomplished.  I'm currently obsessing with my felted daypack. The boys flew clear across the country and prevailed to win the Tier II Championship.  It wasn't an easy win, and the pool games could have defeated the kids, but they hung in there.  Amazing.  It was very exciting!When all the finals are complete, a plaque will be placed in the Hockey Hall of Fame listing every champion for 2008. Kyle's hockey team traveled up there to compete in the Silver Stick regional qualifier for the Pacific Division.  Silver Stick is a huge tournament in North America. Kyle &amp; Kim couldn't pass up the chance to spend time with Ron in a new place, so they tagged along.  Kyle was very excited about the giant skatepark.Banff is such a neat mountain town.  Felt more like the Alps than the Rockies.
